“Traveling alone as a body–based critic is different than touring with a band. Sometimes, the idea of a clean t–shirt upon arrival is the only thing getting me to the next place.

Drifting can be brutal.

I asked my tailor for a set of
t–shirts, made–to–measure for my body from a role of deadstock Helmut Lang cotton/cashmere t–shirt jersey. I comissioned one shirt per city on a 3–month tour.

The journals chosen fit in a baguette bag. Stains on the worn t–shirts become equivalent to
marks on the page.

Column(ist) makes evident my process of becoming a writer.”
